[A/N] Ugh. I don't really have words for this one. I'm so depressed lately, but I'm also on mood stabilizers. It almost feels like I can't feel, and it hurts. This one's kind of from the heart. Too bad Axel doesn't have one. Comments are loved.


A tall redhead walked solo through the dark alleys of a dark world that always rained. The man’s hood was down and the heavy downpour plastered his hair thick against his face. He paused, turning his head up to the cloudy sky, illuminated by the neon lights of the city reflecting against the water. And he closed his eyes, just feeling the rain falling down his face.

The rain was his tears; the tears he wanted to be pouring out, but couldn’t. He couldn’t feel. He had no heart and didn’t know the emotional pain of crying, and he wondered if he ever would. An hour ago, the man had hope. He had no answers, but he had jumped to a solution. And it walked away from him without a second thought.

There was something that made him feel. Someone - someone who, like him, was void of a heart. But together, they could feel. It was a solution. But there were no answers. That someone wanted answers. A solution without an answer wasn’t good enough.

Roxas left to go find those answers. Everything Axel felt went with him. Now he stands a Nobody once again; emotionless. He has nothing left, he thinks, and he wants to feel the depression. But it’s not there. There’s nothing left.

Nothing but numbness and emptiness.
